As part of the growth of our Company, we have expanded our Board to seven members. To fill these two new positions, the Board has appointed Carl Adams, Jr. and Phyllis Hofmeister as directors, effective January 1, 2022.
Carl Adams, Jr. is the Chairman of Illinois Ayers Oil Company, a family owned business operating convenience stores and fueling stations in west central Illinois. Phyllis Hofmeister is Secretary of Robert Hofmeister Inc., a family owned farming operation in Illinois. Both of our new directors bring a wealth of business experience to our Board. Each also has more than 20 years of experience in trust matters, having served as a director to TI-TRUST’s predecessor prior to July 1, 2019.
TI-TRUST announced earlier this month the retirement from the Board of Mr. Don Gnuse. His term will end with the conclusion of the May 2022 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. The Board is continuing its national search to fill this director seat.
All newly appointed and current directors will be up for election at the 2022 Annual Meeting of Shareholders in May.
